The Scoop: Brodiegrrl and I decide to do a Friday
morning ride.
The place: Mt. Seymour Loop -
CBC/Corkscrew/Boogieman/Empress.
Total Elevation Gain:
3,000+ Feet
Duration: 2 hrs, 20 minutes
About 1/2 way up the 3000 ft climb, I break into the
clouds. I feel a deep calm as I float through the clouds:

Finally, a never-before-seen sight: Brodiegrrl running late

We begin our descent down CBC. Next, onto Corkscrew, and a
boring unamed bypass that parallels Pingu and, finally onto
Boogieman. I line up a perfect shot of Brodiegrrl rolling a 5
footer:

She catches her pedal and mashes her foot (check out the
face of pain). A piercing "Doh!F$#%#$%#$IT!" shatters the
morning air as she follows through and completes the drop.
Like ravenous freeriding termites, we make quick work of
the wooden structures. I do an elevated ladder-step (much
easier than it looks, really!):

and one of many ramps that the are the hallmark of the
Boogieman:

Brodiegrrl does the funky canoe thing

as we roll out into the 'burbs in time for
lunch.
