NSR is a system integration and information systems technology consulting company based in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Company

NSR offers evaluation, installation, testing and support services to companies that outsource some or all of their information technology expertise. Our work is the support and administration of Unix (Linux, Solaris, AIX, Irix) Windows 2000/XP and MacOSX in TCP/IP networking environments. We are familiar with DNS,NFS, sendmail/SMTP, DHCP, WINS, Windows Domains/AD, ssh, firewalling-security & backup/restore issues and configuration of TCP/IP in multiplatform client-server environments. We also carry out task automation using Perl and shell scripting in Unix and Windows.

We have experience with Internet and WAN solutions including ATM, ISDN, frame relay and are familiar with Cisco and Newbridge routers/switches. Cisco IOS, routing table configuration and maintainance.

We have designed and installed secure networked environments including firewall implementation as well as customized secure network solutions such as IPSec-based Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

Web (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, PHP) and database (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Informix, Oracle) administration.

Our work also includes installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting computer and systems hardware and software for client companies.
